The foundation of pure produce lies in pure seeds. We primarily use:
Traditional & Heirloom Seeds: We prioritize indigenous and heirloom varieties of rice and vegetables that are well-adapted to our local climate and possess superior nutritional profiles. This also helps in preserving local biodiversity.
Open-Pollinated Seeds: We opt for open-pollinated seeds, allowing us to save seeds from our healthiest plants for future generations, ensuring the continuity and purity of our crops.
Fodder System: Natural & Nutritious
The health and well-being of our cows are paramount, directly impacting the quality of their milk. Our fodder system is entirely natural and sustainable:
Farm-Grown Fodder: A significant portion of our cows’ diet comes directly from our farm. We cultivate various types of green fodder, including nutritious grasses and legumes, without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Crop Residues: After harvest, certain crop residues are fed back to the cows, ensuring minimal waste and providing them with essential roughage.
No Commercial Feeds or Hormones: We strictly avoid commercial feeds, genetically modified grains, and any growth hormones or antibiotics. Our cows graze freely and are fed a natural diet, ensuring the milk is pure and free from harmful additives.
